From Design to Installed in 4 Steps
The online designer takes the guesswork out of choosing a new front door — and the rest is handled by our own team.
1. Design It Online
Pick a style, colour, glass, hardware and house number. Upload a photo of your home and see exactly how the door will look in situ.
2. See Your Indicative Price
Your spec is priced live as you build. Save the design, share it with the household, come back later — there's no obligation at this stage.
3. Free Home Survey
When you're ready, we book a free, no-pressure survey. Our surveyor measures, checks the threshold and frame, and confirms a fixed price.
4. Manufacture & Install
We make the door to your saved spec and our own fitters install it — typically in a single day — with full CERTASS certification.

Composite Door Designer Questions
Everything we get asked about the online designer and what happens next.
How long does it take to design a composite door online?
Most customers complete a full design — door style, colour, glazing, hardware and a photo of their home — in about 5 to 10 minutes. The designer saves your progress as you go, so you can take longer if you want to compare options or get a second opinion. There's no account or sign-up required to start designing, only to submit your final spec.
Is the price I see in the designer a binding quote?
The figure shown in the online designer is an indicative price for the exact specification you've built — it's the right ballpark, but it isn't a binding quote. Final pricing is confirmed after a free home survey, where we measure the aperture, check the existing frame, brickwork and threshold, and account for any fitting requirements specific to your property. The surveyed price is fixed in writing before any deposit is taken.
What happens after I submit my door design?
Your design is sent straight to our Worsley office along with your contact details. A member of the team will call within one working day to confirm what you've built, answer any questions and book a free no-obligation home survey at a time that suits you. If you're ready to proceed after the survey, we manufacture the door to your saved spec and book installation.
Do I have to buy the door if I use the online designer?
No — the online designer is completely free to use and there is no obligation to proceed at any stage. You can design as many variations as you like, share them with family, save them for later, or simply use the tool to get a feel for what's possible and what it costs. We'll only contact you if you choose to submit your design and request a survey or quote.
Which areas do you supply and install composite doors in?
We supply and fit composite doors right across Greater Manchester from our manufacturing base in Worsley — including Manchester, Salford, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport, Trafford, Wigan, Tameside and surrounding areas. If you're outside this footprint but within reasonable travel distance, get in touch and we'll let you know whether we can cover your postcode.
How long until my composite door is fitted after I order?
From signed order, a typical composite door is manufactured and fitted within 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the colour, glazing options and hardware you've specified. Stock colours and standard glass options run faster; bespoke RAL colours, decorative glass and made-to-measure sizes sit at the longer end. Your survey appointment will give you a confirmed lead time before any deposit is paid.
What happens after I submit my composite door design?
When you submit your design, the configurator emails a PDF of your door specification to both you and our Worsley team — capturing your choices for style, colour, glazing, hardware and house number. The PDF doesn't include a price; one of our salespeople will phone you within 24 hours with an indicative price tailored to your specification, your delivery address and any installation requirements. The pricing call is no-pressure: you can ask questions, compare against any other quotes you've gathered, and decide at your own pace whether to take it further. If you do want to move forward, the salesperson visits in person to walk through final specification, confirm pricing, and arrange contract sign-off; a surveyor follows up to take measurements. There's no obligation at any stage — the design, the PDF and the pricing call are all free.
